MICHAEL P. MOSCA - PRESIDENT


Michael Mosca is a profit-driven Senior Executive with expertise in multi-site distribution, transportation and logistics operations. He has a track record of promoting bottom-line growth by streamlining operations and process improvements. Mike has a wide range of expertise in WMS and Business Integrations, ERP Systems, Returns Management, 3PL Analysis, SOP & Policy creation, Operations Management, Planning, Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain and Warehousing/Distribution within Private and Public Companies with annual revenues exceeding 1 billion dollars. Michael has provided the Operations and Logistical expertise for some of Southern California’s most successful and fasted growing internet startup companies.

Prior to founding Dock Worx, Michael was the General Manager for F & S Distributing (a California Cartage Company) located in Fontana, CA. This facility was a Regional Inventory Center used for forward deployment of inventory for a nationwide wine and spirits distributor and was a proof of concept facility developed over a 3 year period. 

​Previous to F & S, Michael was the Vice President of Operations for Intelligent Beauty, an El Segundo based brand incubator (now known as Tech Style) which included (Sensa, Beauty Fix, Dermstore & JustFab.com). There he executed all Operational and Logistical responsibilities from concept to facility selection, physical layout & design, staffing hiring and training, WMS systems and distribution automation. During this period (5 years), distribution operations grew from 20k sq. ft. and 9,000 orders per month to a combined 350k+ sq. ft. and over 500,000 orders per month with combined revenues approaching 1 billion+.

​Michael provided the logistical expertise for the Return Exchange; an internet based reverse logistics startup company (now called The Retail Equation) and Vice President at Young’s Market Company; one of the nation’s oldest and largest wine & spirits distributors where he was responsible for the Purchasing, Transportation and Inventory Control departments to support annual sales in excess of 1 billion dollars. Earlier in his career, Mike worked for Gensia Laboratories; a startup pharmaceutical company where he helped set up and manage a nationwide 3rd party distribution network. Michael began his operations and logistics career at a division of Ford Motor company.
